Ugandan dairy farmers building processing plant

A milk-processing plant is being built in Mbarara, Uganda, by dairy farmers in the Uganda Crane Creameries Cooperative Union. The plant, expected to open by year's end, will produce 80,000 liters of pasteurized milk, 2,000 liters of UHT milk and 2,000 liters of yogurt in the first year.
