Practitioners stress comprehensivist approach in patient care

Health experts proposed establishing comprehensive care physicians to help eliminate potential miscommunication between specialists and hospital doctors on patients' health and hospitalization risks. The proposal, called the comprehensivist approach, is now being done in countries including Canada and Great Britain, a researcher added.
