Ag Committee chair releases details on farm bill

Rep. Frank Lucas, R.-Okla., chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, has a new farm bill that would cut a total of $38 billion in spending over the next decade, including $20 billion from the food stamp program. The Senate agriculture committee is expected to put forth a bill with $23 billion in total cuts, the same amount as last year.
