American cities are saying so long to smog

Air quality in many American cities is improving, according to the American Lung Association's annual State of the Air report. Researchers found that 18 cities had lower particle pollution than in previous years, and that 16 had their best-ever air-quality figures. Still, there's a long way to go: About 156 million people live in regions that have unhealthy air.
