E15 ruling sparks concerns from outdoor power-equipment makers

A recent appeals court ruling that favored E15 fuel sparked concerns from lawn-equipment makers because the fuel can damage small engines. "Manufacturers are at a loss right now as to how to compensate and make their vehicles or their lawn equipment work with E15," said Mark Huber of Amarillo Outdoor Power Equipment in Texas. The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute is one of the groups advising consumers to be careful about the fuel they use for lawn equipment.
