Former Cisco exec will challenge carriers with flexible plans

ItsOn will enter the consumer realm this month with a service that will let wireless subscribers change their level of service at will and share minutes, texting and data capabilities, according to a published report. Headed by former Cisco Systems executive Charles Giancarlo, ItsOn will rely on smartphone applications for its customizable features and will charge subscribers full price for their handsets under a still-unnamed brand.
