Massive microscope, minuscule atoms team for world's smallest film

A two-ton scanning tunneling IBM microscope was used to make the world's smallest film, "A Boy and His Atom." The film actually uses precisely placed atoms for the brief stop-motion production, with action filmed by the microscope at a magnification power of more than 100 million.
