Obama administration pledges to continue cybersecurity dialogue

The White House took steps to further clarify its opposition to the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act -- which President Barack Obama has threatened to veto -- saying it is determined to continue discussions with lawmakers and stakeholders to draft a bill that is acceptable to all parties. In a response posted to a "We the People" online petition opposing CISPA, administration officials said that while the current version of the bill included some "important improvements," it still fails to allay concerns about the privacy of personally identifiable data.
