With an injection of $2.5 million, Semiconductor Research Corp. is partnering with the National Science Foundation's NEEDS initiative. The Nano-Engineered Electronic Device Simulation is "all about moving from nano-science to nano-technology," said Purdue University professor Mark Lundstrom, the project's lead scientist.
