Promoting wind power is right for Neb., group says

The Center for Rural Affairs commended Nebraska lawmakers for advancing legislation that would spur wind-power development and ensure that the state reaps the financial rewards from the projects, the group writes. The vote "shows that our elected officials understand the value of wind energy and the potential this industry can bring to our rural communities," said Johnathan Hladik, energy policy advocate at the center.
