Rindex obtains license for AF prediction technology

Rindex Medical has gained exclusive license from the Cleveland Clinic to develop the A-50 AF Prediction System, a tool that doctors can use to predict a patient's risk for atrial fibrillation after cardiac surgery. The Redwood City, Calif.-based startup has a working prototype of the device and is preparing to apply for 510(k) clearance.
