Senator sees Baucus' bill as "a major vehicle" for device tax repeal

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., has expressed optimism that the 2.3% medical device tax may be repealed by rolling it into tax reform or other measures, including a bill backed by outgoing Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont. "That will be a major vehicle for us to include the repeal of the medical device tax or at least some major reduction," Klobuchar said at a recent conference.
