Shell gambles on LNG exports

Royal Dutch Shell sees huge potential in liquefied natural gas exports, observers say. The company owns about 7% of the global LNG business and seeks to significantly increase its share via new acquisitions and projects. "We are in the lead, and we want to stay in the lead," said Andrew Brown, the company's head of international exploration and production.
