UN must investigate Aleppo incident first, Syrian envoy says

The United Nations must investigate the March chemical weapons incident in Aleppo prior to other alleged incidents, says Syria's UN envoy Bashar Ja'afari. The Syrian government believes rebels were behind the Aleppo event. "The Syrian government has always emphasized that the Syrian government will not use, if it possesses any, chemical weapons on its own people," says Ja'afari.
