Wash. Supreme Court to weigh in on stalled wind project

The Washington state Supreme Court will hear a legal challenge against the stalled Whistling Ridge Energy wind project. The state approved a scaled-back version that would cut the number of turbines from 50 to 35 on aesthetic grounds. Opponents of the project say regulators failed to adequately review its environmental impact, but supporters say it underwent years of reviews before receiving approval.
