HDBaseT home networks can carry audio, control signals, data, digital video and 100 watts of power on one low-voltage cable, Michael Brown notes. "You won’t need an electrician with HDBaseT, and you won’t need a pricey active HDMI cable, either," he writes. Brown reviews several products using the HDBaseT technology.
