Microsoft ready to engage with new Net ads

Trying to play catch up to rivals Google and Yahoo!, Microsoft at the Mix 07 conference in Las Vegas unveiled its next generation of Net ads, featuring software with maps, video, games and other interactive features. However, one skeptic questioned whether Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division, which reported a $315 million operating loss, was up to the challenge of remaking interactive ads.
