Connecticut town approves propane facility plans after lawsuit settled

The Planning and Zoning Commission of Oxford, Conn., approved Phoenix Propane's proposal to build a propane facility with an 18,000-gallon propane tank in Oxford, Conn., which the commission had voted against last year. Phoenix Propane filed a lawsuit challenging the commission's resolution, claiming the commission "acted illegally, arbitrarily and in abuse" of the law. The matter was resolved through an out-of-court settlement on Thursday after the commission's executive session.
