IPad so far is not a "must have" for most boomers

Boomers are adopting Apple's iPad in small numbers, with those ages 45 to 54 making up only 16.4% of users and ages 55 to 64 accounting for only 7.3%, according to comScore. This raises questions about how boomers will adapt to coming electronic devices designed to help them age at home, writes Paul Briand. On the other hand, boomers can be enthusiastic tech users once they adjust -- as their rapid migration to Facebook attests.
