The roof of the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre in Ontario needs to be repaired after ice accumulated on the roofing interface. The repair calls for installation of additional waterproofing on a portion of the roof, according to Wayne Rosberg of CS&P Architects. "The simplest thing [in original construction] would have been to say let’s remove the existing roof [and build it as one piece]. It doesn’t work; the old roof is difficult to tie in to," Rosberg said.
