On-call pay increases for some family physicians, data show

Median on-call pay for family physicians who do not provide obstetrics services increased from $100 to $150 per day from 2011 to 2012, according to data from the MGMA Medical Directorship and On-Call Compensation Survey. Family physicians whose practice included obstetrics had the lowest median daily on-call pay at $75.
