Could an Aereo-like service be in Time Warner Cable's future?

Time Warner Cable sees potential in setting up a streaming service similar to the controversial one offered by startup Aereo, according to Glenn Britt, the cabler's chief executive. Aereo, which uses small antennas to transmit content over the airwaves, has been sued for copyright infringement by broadcast networks. "What Aereo is doing to bring broadcast signals to its customers is interesting," Britt said. "If it is found legal, we could conceivably use similar technology."
