Exec: Shell is in Australian LNG development talks with competitors

Royal Dutch Shell is in discussions with other energy firms about working together in the construction of liquefied natural gas projects in Queensland, Australia, a company executive said. Cost inflation in Australia prompted Shell to purposely delay a decision on a LNG project in the country. "Australian cost inflation is a significant challenge, not only on current projects, but future potential projects," said Simon Henry, Shell's chief financial officer.
