Former SEC chief criticizes U.S. extraterritorial moves

Harvey Pitt, former head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, says the U.S. should stop trying to force its rules on the rest of the world. "The time when the U.S. could be arrogant is long over, as is the time when it could believe it could hold onto financial services in this country," Pitt said at an industry gathering.
