Federal Communications Commission member Mignon Clyburn will serve as the agency's interim chief during the confirmation process for Tom Wheeler, the White House nominee for chairman. Clyburn will be the first woman to lead the agency. "Commissioner Clyburn is a trailblazer and role model for millions of women, and her commitment to serving the public interest is unquestioned," NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith said.
