New building model to streamline prefab construction of schools

Project Frog's "Impact" platform could simplify how prefabricated school components -- classrooms, hallways, rest rooms -- are built, and do it more economically and quickly. "If you make it simpler, it goes faster, and there's less chance for things to go wrong," said Ash Notaney, Project Frog vice president of product and innovation. The group doesn't like the term prefab, preferring "componentized" because each component can be joined in different ways.
