Nominee to head FCC criticized broadcasters in blog posts

Tom Wheeler, the Obama administration's nominee to head the Federal Communications Commission, in posts on his blog frequently criticized broadcasters, mostly regarding spectrum issues. "If broadcasters respond to the digital spectrum debate the same way they responded to cable TV 30 years ago, with opposition and cries of the end of the world, then they will experience the same result: progress will go forward without them," he wrote in a 2010 post.
