A potted herb garden is an easy way to bring fresh flavor to dishes, and herbs respond well to being snipped regularly for food preparation. Adam Pyle, horticulturist at the U.S. Botanic Garden, shares some of his favorite herb combinations including a collection of Mediterranean herbs that grows best in drier soil.
