Prom is a big night for social media

High-school proms have evolved, with many of this year's top trends including technology, according to this article. While some students are posting prom photos on Instagram, others are tweeting information about their arrival and some girls are sending photos of their dresses via text message to help them make decisions or avoid wearing the same dress or color as their friends. Students also are taking to social media to rate their proms and are posting information on Instagram and Twitter about how they were asked to the event.
