SEC's Beswick says "change fatigue" is an obstacle to IFRS

A decision by the Securities and Exchange Commission that would allow or require U.S. public companies to use International Financial Reporting Standards for their financial reporting continues to appear unlikely in the short term. SEC Chief Accountant Paul Beswick said the SEC is working through other priorities, and said "change fatigue" among preparers and others would make a sudden transition to IFRS problematic.
