Should teachers be involved in assessment revisions?

State education officials and Pearson should involve teachers and school leaders in the revision process for the New York State Common Core exams, eighth-grade language arts teacher Ariel Sacks writes in this blog post. As she scores written responses on the recent tests, Sacks writes that she has questions and concerns about the "new and experimental" standards and tests, but she is not permitted to voice them because of a confidentiality agreement she was required to sign.
