Study: Ore. Medicaid expansion increased health care usage

Data from Oregon's expanded Medicaid program showed people who gained coverage visited doctors and hospitals more frequently, but they did not get much healthier in the two years of the study, although there were some positive effects such as addressing depression. The report in the New England Journal of Medicine comes as states work to expand Medicaid eligibility under the Affordable Care Act.
