They should seek advice from targeted contacts and try to get at least 10 strong recommendations from their networks, Nemko suggests, advising them not to spend too much time posting in LinkedIn groups. "Unless your posts stand out again and again as ahead of the pack, it's unlikely to be worth the effort," Nemko advises.
