Worker safety, better productivity key to new ergonomic tools

Construction firms are investing more in handheld tools and devices that improve worker performance and lower overhead costs, writes Tony Illia. These include Mineola's RB 397 "handheld rebar tier that looks and acts like a cordless power drill" and the Robo-Joiner BNRJ-100, developed by an Australian concrete worker, which "cuts concrete control joints with speed, ease and accuracy."
