Consumers give social brands the cold shoulder

One consumer in 25 uses social media to connect with companies, according to the Optus Future of Business Report. Two-thirds of consumers said they liked to speak to someone from a business directly, and 44% said they felt they received better service and support when they used traditional means of making contact.
