CSX CEO Michael Ward shared his views about the "railroad renaissance" during a Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce event in Huntington, W.Va. The rail industry's resurgence is largely attributed to the Staggers Act of 1980, Ward said. Aside from the key legislation, Ward also highlighted the importance of the Huntington area to CSX operations in the U.S. and Canada.
