Dominion's used fuel storage expansion plan clears Conn. regulators

Dominion Resources' plan to expand the Millstone nuclear plant's used nuclear fuel storage capacity has secured approval from the Connecticut Siting Council. Under the plan, concrete pads would be built at the facility to accommodate more dry storage containers for the material. The company is spending $11 million for the project, spokesman Ken Holt said.
