Hotels should consider stripped-down mobile websites

Responsive website design may not be the answer for hotels, because too much data may overwhelm prospects who are looking for quick, simple information via their mobile devices. "If you’re on a hotel website and it’s responsive and it’s a hundred pages, you don’t really want to look at that on a smartphone," said D.J. Vallauri, founder and president of Lodging Interactive. He recommended a dedicated mobile website with stripped-down content.
