IFA program offers support for minority entrepreneurs

The IFA founded MinorityFran in 2006 after realizing the franchise industry did not mirror the diversity of its customer base, said Miriam Brewer, IFA's senior director of education and diversity. The program seeks to connect minority entrepreneurs and franchisors looking to enter new markets in an effort to help level the economic playing field in the U.S.
