Kombucha, the fermented drink that was pulled from retail shelves in 2010 because of its alcohol levels, is back and stronger than ever. Paul Sposato, sales and marketing manager for Kombucha Wonder Drink, said the experience was actually positive because it raised awareness of the category. Búcha Live founder Bern Galvin predicts the drink still has a ways to go, but will eventually enter mainstream markets. "The kombucha industry today is probably about where the craft beer brewing industry was in about 1983. It’s got a long way to go," he said.
