Nonprofit group to send fresh produce truck to Calif. schools

The nonprofit Fresh Approach program will send a refrigerated truck full of fresh fruits and vegetables to schools in Pittsburg and Bay Point, Calif., to offer healthy foods to residents who do not have easy access to major grocery stores. The truck will arrive at student drop-off and pick-up to make it easy for parents and children to shop.
