Obama is at ease with FDA ruling on morning-after pill

President Barack Obama has said he is comfortable with the FDA's decision to authorize the access of girls and women 15 and older to the morning-after emergency-contraception pill without a prescription. The agency based its ruling on "solid scientific evidence," he said in a news conference in Mexico City. "The rule that's been put forward by the FDA, Secretary Sebelius has reviewed, she's comfortable with," said Obama about HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. "I'm comfortable with it," Obama said.
