SEC considering scaled-back floating NAV rules

The Securities and Exchange Commission is considering a change to rules for money market funds, and it could decide to require only the riskiest funds -- specifically "prime" funds -- to switch to a floating share price. Such a change would be considered a win for the industry, which fought an effort last year to require all share values to float.
