Single-serve coffee makers here to stay

Single-serve coffee machines are an increasingly popular product as some coffee addicts look for a cheaper alternative to Starbucks, this article says. An estimated 12 million have bought the appliance, and industry consultants expect the single-serve cups to continue proliferating on grocery store shelves. "Supermarkets that used to look at coffee as a loss-leader all of the sudden saying, 'hey there's money to be made.' This is not what I would call a flash in the pan," said coffee consultant Daniel Cox.
