H1N1 flu may put hurt on border businesses

Restaurants and retailers near the U.S.-Mexico border have seen a decrease in business as people stay home to avoid the H1N1 strain of influenza. Value-oriented retailers such as Ross Stores, Dollar General, Family Dollar Stores and Payless shoes could take a hit -- especially if the border is closed -- as could casual-dining restaurants such as BJs, California Pizza Kitchen, P.F. Chang's, Red Robin and the Cheesecake Factory.
