Will FCC blink on network neutrality?

Network neutrality and key provisions of the national broadband plan could be at risk, if the FCC, under Chairman Julius Genachowski, fails to reclassify broadband as a "common carrier service." Without the power to ensure network neutrality, the agency also will be hard-pressed to ensure "the public interest" is protected in Comcast's pending takeover of NBC Universal, according to IAC chief executive Barry Diller.
