Dean Lindal of the Entrepreneurs' Organization says today's entrepreneurs appear to be more risk-averse than their predecessors, despite -- or perhaps because of -- the technology that has made the world a faster, smaller place. "That could be a function of how the global financial crisis has shaken people," Lindal says.
