18F-FP-CIT PET/CT aids in differential diagnosis of Parkinsonism

A Korean study involving Parkinson's disease patients and patients with drug-induced Parkinsonism found that the use of 18F-FP-CIT PET/CT imaging helped differentiate between the two conditions. The researchers used the PET/CT method to assess striatal dopamine transporter density in patients.
