Colo. city council weighs land acquisition and trails

The Boulder, Colo., City Council is considering letting the Open Space and Mountain Parks Department connect trails citywide, completing the Trail Around Boulder and protecting city land. The acquisition plan comes ahead of the expiration of two sales taxes that account for 55% of the department's budget.
