NASA is working on new projects for 2 donated satellites

NASA is deciding how to best use two space telescopes it inherited. Both telescopes, from the National Reconnaissance Office, are similar to the Hubble Space Telescope, but have a wider field. The satellites could be used to orbit Mars or study Earth's atmosphere. Another possibility is to use them as part of NASA's proposed $1.5 billion Wide-Field Infrared Survey Telescope.
